Since I joined Tiendanube in early 2020, I've been working on a few major projects. I've been contributing to the design of our admin panel, the product hundreds of thousands of merchants use every day and love.

I've been collaborating with the team behind this launch, spanning a number of tasks such as discovery, user interviews and research, prototyping new features and also developing a number of them for our React codebase.

We also managed to re-launch the new mobile app for Android and iOS, where our redesign allowed to escalate from a 2-star rating to a 4.5-star average rating on both the Google Play and Apple App stores. The new experience bridged the gap between the desktop and the mobile app, allowing the merchants to manage their stores on-the-go.

This was all powered by Nimbus, our open-source design system, which I led from the beginning, by establishing our core values, design principles and our styleguide for design tokens. I also helped build our entire component library for Figma and React, and launch our documentation site for designers and developers. I've been a key part of the team advocating for the use of our design system and collaborating with team members by providing learning sessions and workshops.

During the last four years we managed to raise the adoption of our design system across all our growing portfolio of products to almost 95%.

Currently, while continuing to work on Nimbus, I'm leading the design of our new AI-powered set of tools to integrate with our merchants' admin.
